I found Schwarma outside the Turkish restaurant in Simiasma in October 2017. She was skinny and being bullied by the other cats, but was very sweet and friendly with me. I picked her up with the intention of getting her spayed and returned to the restaurant, but the restaurant workers begged me to keep her as they already had one litter of her kittens and they wanted her to have a nice home.

She has always been sweet and lets me carry her like a baby. She has a loud funny meow when she wants something–especially when she smells chicken! She was under a year old when I picked her up and she still is incredibly playful and often runs through the house and up and down the stairs. She gets along with the other cats but I’ve never seen her snuggle or bond with any of them, so she wouldn’t be a good cat to adopt if you have a cat who needs a friend. She would do fine with other cats who don’t mind if she’s not that friendly towards them, or maybe even as an only cat.
