Prince Rigel

I found Prince Rigel at my colony in Al Waab in May 2015. He was lying on the ground, and I thought he was dead until he picked his head up! He has always been friendly and I didn’t recognize him as a colony cat so he might have had a family at some point. I rushed him to the clinic and it was found he had a severe and life-threatening diaphragmatic hernia (likely due to being hit by a car). It appeared he had the injury for a few months as he didn’t have other trauma (except some fur missing from some of his toes, which is permanent) but was too weak for surgery, so he had to recover for a while. Finally, he was strong enough for surgery which was extremely risky but it was successful and he made a full recovery.
He has an incredible personality. He is never bothered by any new situations or people and likes to participate in yoga, painting, and parties. He also loves car rides and I think he would love to go on adventures on a leash! He gets along great with my other cats and doesn’t mind the dog. I have many videos and pictures of him snuggling and grooming other cats. He is an adult cat and is probably around 3 years old.
